Entrada Operating Officers

G. William (Bill) Brown, CEO

Bill began his career at Price Waterhouse Coopers where he received his CPA designation. He has over 25 years experience in all aspects of company leadership and management, including success in all C-suite positions for companies across the healthcare industry. Previously, he led a successful turnaround and repositioning of PriCare, a physician practice management company. He then led a thriving consulting practice for six years; assisting investor-backed companies with business plan development, infrastructure development and the structuring of capital transactions.  Bill has a degree in accounting summa cum laude from Murray State University.

Alexander Poston, CIO 

As founder and CIO of Entrada, Alex is recognized as a pioneer in clinical documentation and data exchange technology, as well as technical process and software redesign. Alex co-founded Total eMed (now Spheris) and served as CIO. Under his leadership, that company was the first in its industry to utilize Internet delivery of voice to remotely located transcriptionists to achieve efficiencies and cost savings. Earlier in his career, he founded MicroLink Consulting, which grew to be recognized as one of Middle Tennessee’s fastest growing Companies. He also has held management roles with MedicaLogic and IDX. Alex graduated from the University of Oklahoma.

Jeff McNeese, Vice President of Operations

Jeff has spent his career serving within the medical transcription services industry working in various capacities ranging from training and organizational development, production operations, and global services management. Prior to joining Entrada, Jeff was Vice President of Operations at Transcend Services, the second largest clinical documentation firm, where he provided direct oversight to the organization’s global operations. Jeff is a graduate of Lipscomb University with degrees in psychology and management.

Chuck Steinmetz, Vice President of Product Development 

Chuck has nearly 30 years of IT Management experience within the healthcare industry, with specific emphasis on product development and services delivery. Previously Chuck has led numerous projects involving emerging technologies in start-up environments and has a proven record of effective communication between technology teams and other business stakeholders. Chuck recently served as the VP of Enterprise Systems at Onlife Health Services, where he was responsible for building successful IT teams and managing multiple departments. Prior to Onlife Health, Chuck was an integral part of the leadership team at three software companies, where he led technology teams through large conversion and development projects involving hardware, applications and large vendor initiatives. Chuck has a BSB degree in Computer Information Systems from Murray State University.

J. Patrick Williams, Vice President of Business Development 

Pat has a long history of success in Health IT sales and has extensive knowledge of the EHR industry. Prior to joining Entrada, Pat held various management positions with healthcare organizations including Dell Perot Systems and Misys Healthcare Systems. Pat graduated from Rhodes College with a degree in business administration and earned an MBA from Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management.

Steve Wilkins, Vice President of Business Development

Steve has over 28 years of management experience with technology and healthcare companies.  Prior to Entrada, Steve was in senior management with ThoughtWorks, an acclaimed international software development firm where he managed the company’s largest client relationship and was responsible for service delivery in the Southeast.  He also has held management positions with Healthways, Quorum Health Resources, Premier, and Avega Health Systems.

Steve has a degree in finance from Western Kentucky University and an MBA from the Massey School at Belmont University.

Chase Pattison, Director of Marketing

Chase has spent his career in the field of marketing and brand management, with an emphasis in the digital and online space. Prior to joining Entrada, Chase was the Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for FiledBy, an online social community for authors, writers, and book enthusiasts. Chase graduated from the University of Tennessee with a degree in business administration and earned an MBA from Vanderbilt’s Owen Graduate School of Management.

William H. Edwards, Jr. MD, MBA

Dr. William Edwards obtained his undergraduate and medical school degrees from Vanderbilt University and then went on to obtain his postgraduate training in surgery at Vanderbilt Medical Center. He obtained advanced training in vascular surgery at Vanderbilt Medical Center as well and has practiced vascular surgery since 1989. He is an Assistant Clinical Professor of surgery at Vanderbilt Medical School. He obtained an MBA in Medical Management at the University of Texas at Dallas in 2008. He has been the lead partner in a 25 person surgery group in Nashville with full time coverage at 5 hospitals for the last 10 years.
