For example, a regional health system in Pennsylvania is preparing to roll out the Allscripts Enterprise EHR in 2012 to its 150 employed physicians. To facilitate physicians’ adoption of that system, the organization will begin transitioning doctors onto Entrada’s platform this year.

Working with Entrada:

• Physicians see patients and then dictate relevant clinical data from a work list, which is automatically imported from the clinic’s scheduling system.
• Entrada processes the work through our data center and completes the clinical note.
• From a PC or tablet, doctors then call up those notes, review them, make any remaining edits, and sign the note – all from within the Entrada platform or our portal.
• Entrada stores a digital copy in the practice repository and keeps a secure back-up copy on our portal.

When the group migrates to Allscripts a year later, physician productivity will, in essence, be unaffected:

• Physicians see patients and dictate from a work list.
• Entrada continues to process the work through our data center and completes the clinical note.
• Entrada returns the note into the Allscripts encounter for that patient.
• Doctors call up those notes, review them, make any required edits, and then sign the note – in Allscripts.

This process does not change for the doctor.  The only change is that the physician reviews and signs the note within Allscripts instead of Entrada.  More importantly, the EHR integration can be completed without costly physician productivity decreases.

Furthermore, as part of your data migration, any work done in the Entrada platform prior to the adoption of an EHR can be pre-populated into your system.
